Please help Buddy with surgery bill

Please help us help Buddy a 1 year old puppy. He broke his back leg acting like super dog down our stairs, missed a step and landed wrong on his back end. We took him to the vets and they said its a bad compound femoral fracture that went through his skin as they took an ex-ray and he needs surgery. The surgery quotes we were getting was $3000-5000, or we could do a leg Amputation which would be less expensive and also less complications. We have decided to do this option for him as financially we cant afford the other surgery. This has been very heart breaking for all of us being so close to Christmas. He is only a year old, has a big heart of gold and is a loving companion to our other dog and 2 children. We know with having 3 legs he will be able to survive and still be around for our family. It took us 2 1/2 years to find the right companion for our family and our other dog and we did not want to loose him now. As shown in the picture he loves laying with his best friend our 6 year old son. We made this fundraiser up to ask for any help you can give us around this holiday season as we are struggling financially, anything you can donate will be greatly appreciated and will go towards his vet bills.
