ER Hospital Visit Expenses (Herniated Disc Injury)
Donation protected
Update: Hospital bill is $9,060 which was reduced down to $5,400 (majority of this expense should be covered by medi-cal if I get approved) + (So far I've spent $380 out of pocket, and lost 3 weeks of work, with another few weeks to go)
I'm fully aware of how a GoFundMe fundraiser looks essentially like someone begging for help, that's not my intention. My situation is one where I am unable to work, and income has decreased severely until I recover from my health issues. I know that there are some people who are sympathetic to my situation and may have a desire to help, which is where this fundraiser comes into it.
I've experienced pain in the past before but have felt the full force fury of Sciatica, well I did recently and am now aware that the is damage spine/disc causing pressure on the nerve which is causing major pain. After an emergency room visit, a herniated disc was discovered via a CT Scan, and now I'm recovering.
Surgery is not going to be the solution, and physical therapy is not needed either, after a visit with an orthopedic specialist he said that simply 4-6 weeks of rest and taking it easy will heal the injury.
If you or anyone you know would be able to help in any financial way please send them over to this GoFundMe page. Thank you!
