Help a rising sport champion and his mum

Im trying to raise some cash to sponsor my awesome nephew Liam Fothergill to realise his dream of playing for Australia in his sport of Lacrosse and to help his mother. Liam has the amazing honour of being chosen to Play for Australia for the first time! The Under 21 Australian Lacrosse Team head overseas in June to Japan and South Korea to play in a championship there. Liam is a brilliant young 20 year old and a most gifted player, sweeping Awards at his Caulfield Lacrosse Club, before being chosen for the young Australia team just this year. But Liam has some financial challenges, particularly lately. His mother has been struck down with Breast Cancer for the past year or so and she has just finished a gruelling chemotherapy. Whilst his mum is on the mend, Liam, a Uni student and working part time, has had to pay the living expenses for both of them, all the rent, and other living costs, on behalf of his mother and himself, whilst his mum has had to cut back work to fight her cancer, with mounting debts. When he should be saving up for his overseas trip, he's had to spend paying for more than his fair share,  resulting in little money spare for his overseas trip to play for Australia.  To make matters worse, both he and his mum share a car- but the car has broken down and is in the garage for the 5th time, and this bill alone is over in the thousands. Liam, who recently finished high school with an A average has never had it easy, and everything he has done has been the result of extremely hard work. He is simply, and amazing, inspiring person! I'd love to see the universe/ community give something back to help give this  selfless, talented sportsperson and his mum, a greater chance  a) achieve his dream of representing Australia overseas in Lacrosse, and b) to help he and his mum get their car back on the road and give them a financial break in life, after her really tough years of illness. Liam will be the first Fothergill in our family to have the highest honour of being at the pinnacle of his chosen sport (well since his great great distance Uncle, who won a Brownlow Medal, for Collingwood, Des Fothergill in 1940). Like his great Uncle, Liam is a truly gifted in his chosen sport. He is also a wonderful, dedicated, humble young man, and he and his mum deserve a financial break and a bit of a lift. I post this with the fervent hope that some of you out there will see it in your heart to reach out and assist him to fulfill his lifelong dream of representing Australia, and to help his mother out with her car, after a tough few years fighting cancer. They deserve the break, the both of them.
