Apps For Freelancers /Self-Employed
My Name is John Cosstick and I am the author of How to be Self-Employed: A Freelance Work from Home Guide. I have worked as a Banker, Accountant and Certified Financial Planner and now a Freelance Journalist. I see that this project is needed for not only Australian self employed workers, but for freelancers where ever in the world they work .
Self employed freelancers working over the internet need help with Work Life Balance and Money Management applications. These applications need to be included in the Kindle eBook How to be Self-Employed: A Freelance Work from Home Guide. This will give these workers and their families a better life work balance and control over their time and money management during their lives.
The money will be used to develop the applications, include them in the rewrite of How to be Self-Employed: A Freelance Work From Home Guide and distribute the eBook to individuals plus community groups in Australia.
Did you know that the Australian owned Freelance.com freelance employment platform has over 18 million registered users globally , but the total number of workers in Australia according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics is only 11.9 million. This is a serious change because it impacts both workers and employers worldwide making work ultra competitive.
I would like to complete this project before the Elections in Australia this year if possible.
This project is important to these people:
-people who want to work for themselves.
-people who are made redundant and want to freelance
-families who choose to have one partner work from home for life work balance reasons.
-people who have not accumulated enough superannuation to fund their retirement without working part time.
-regional workers who can't get a job.
-the marginalized who want to change their circumstances.
This project matters to me because I know what it means to start work again late in life.
I have worked on this project for six years, at my cost, but now I need some financial help to complete the project. This is where this project is at the moment:

This project matters to the self employed freelancers because there are now more than 3,000 different types of work that can be completed over the internet.
The changes in work patterns are being driven by advances in technology are worldwide and are unstoppable.
It is not readily ascertainable as to the numbers of workers that are involved in the work of freelancing in Australia. However, in the United States research has shown that 34% of the workforce are involved in the freelancing economy or 53 million people:

The goal of the project is not only to complete this project as outlined, but to ensure that this issue is placed on the policy platforms of all the major political parties in Australia for this election.
I know that the Freelancers Union in the United States is running a strong social media campaign to get better government support and recognition for the freelancing community.
I ask that you support me so that I can continue this campaign in Australia.
Your financial help and contacting your local member of parliament to ensure that this issue is on their political agenda for this election is what is needed.
Your help will be appreciated.
