Funeral Expenses For Heather Nieves

Our family is in the midst of planning a funeral for our beautiful sister, niece, cousin, daughter and friend, Heather Nieves.
With a heavy heart I have to ask for a little bit of help if you have the ability to, if you don't, your emotional support is welcome.
On Thanksgiving day Heather was brutally murdered by her ex-boyfriend in Orlando, FL. Although, this is the fact of the situation I would really like to focus on what an amazing person Heather was in life and not her death to those that didn't know her.
Her laugh was one that made you laugh just by hearing it. Always happy and smiling and enjoying life. She had an enormous heart and was an advocate and support system for social justices and causes that affected her and those around her.
She was a certified massage therapist, in her own words regarding her job she said "I like to make people feel better." It was just who she was.
She was the most loving, genuine, caring person that was strong and independent with so much life ahead of her. Our hearts our broken.
Our goal with any funds raised is to bring Heather home and layed to rest with her Father in her hometown of Moab, Utah.
We appreciate all of the thoughts and caring words received over the past weekend as we all cope with our unexpected loss.
