Georgia Tech Engineering week

Donation protected

Hi, this is Shane & Apple, Harrison's parents.

We are reaching out to ask for help in finanancing a trip for Harrison to go Georgia Tech for an Engineering program for college-bound teens this June.

For those of you that don't know Harrison, he is a hardworking and creative, highly motivated student. He is maintaining a 3.9 GPA this year. He often spends weekends and school holidays designing eloborate projects such as wooden pinball machines, handmade musical instruments (his first: a 'cigar box' fiddle), and stop motion videos.

Harrison has the opportunity via NSLC (National Student Leadership Conference) to spend 9 days experiencing life on and around the Georgia Tech campus with a group of high school students who are also hoping to pursue engineering degrees in college.

This year, Harrison is a sophomore at Cleveland High School here in SE Portland. He will graduate from CHS in June 2018.

Time is racing by, and as many of you know, Apple's Crohn's disease and Shane's chronic muscle and joint disorders have kept us from meeting our finacial goals for our son's education expenses.

For this upcoming program, we have his airfare and ground transportation costs covered.

What we are seeking help with, is the $3,000 required to pay for his tuition and housing on the Georgia Tech campus.

Our deadline for the balance of his tuition is May 16th.

Any support you could offer towards this goal would be gratefully and humbly appreciated.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
