Funding for Zoie Hebler

Donation protected
Zoie (Hannah Zoie Hebler) was involved in a car accident very early in the morning on Friday, Nov 6, 2015. She was heading home to High Springs from Branford on county road 138 and drifted off the road, was launched into the air by a ramped driveway and collided with a tree. She was ejected from the vehicle and was found outside of the car by the Florida Highway Patrol. Buddy, Zoie's poodle, was in the car with her but did not make it through the accident. It appears he passed away on impact and did not suffer.

She arrived at the hospital in a coma around 3-4am and went immediately into surgery. Her spleen has been removed as it ruptured in the accident. She has multiple facial fractures, two spinal fractures (T7, and C1), suffered a stroke on the left side of her brain, and has endured a TBI (traumatic brain injury).

Zoie suffered a stroke on the left side of her brain in the accident due to a crushed artery behind her cheeckbone. The artery that was crushed is one of four that feeds the brain, it is smaller than the carotid artery and the stroke affected is not huge. She is currently experiencing side effects of that stroke in the form of a lack of movement in her right limbs. Her left side limbs are active and strong though they are mostly moving due to pain and are nonvoluntary (she doesn't squeeze when you say squeeze).

Zoie is a fighter and she has a strong, young body. Currently her age is her best ally.

The hospital staff is helping us to set her up with medical insurance as she currently has none. They are confident the state of Florida will cover her medical expenses however coverage for her long term rehab is unknown.

What we are humbly asking for is help handling Zoie's affairs for the next few months as well as assistance sustaining our support for her. Any donations would go towards her mortgage, bills, and our travel expenses to and from the hospital/rehab center. This would be astronomically helpful to maintaining Zoie's household and ensuring we can all be there for her as she begins to wake up, gain consciousness of her situation and start that recovery process.

We appreciate any help that can be given.
