Hamilton Park Bobcats 2015 Season

My name is Tevar Watson. I am writing to you on behalf of the Hamilton Park Bobcats, the non-profit organization for which I serve as the Head of Football Operations. Our club has just been reestablished in the past five years. In this time we have established ourselves as force to be reckoned with, after having competed in several little league organizations in and around the city. The flag and 3rd Grade Team went undefeated during the 2014 season and went on to win the Superbowl Championship game. We have now been given the opportunity to grow as an organization as the word has spread about the mentoring efforts we implement with the youth. The Hamilton park community has declined in recent years due to the lack of positive male leadership in the community. The reemergence of the football team is vital at this point in time to teach our young men discipline, team work and structure; skills that can be also used in their everyday life. Most importantly, we also teach the young men Christian values; our Motto is the Three C’s: Christ, Commitment, and Community.

For this endeavor, the team staff and I have been working to raise funds which will allow us to train well and also give us enough finances to procure new equipment that we need in order to play in the
Plano Sports Organization (PSO) and be safe at the same time.  Since the club is still a comparatively small our funds are low and we function on a very small budget. Most of our parents are single mothers who can’t afford the fees to play nor pay for the necessary equipment. We do not want to turn away any children due to lack of money to participate. We would like for our children to also have a nice banquet at the end of the year.  We are looking for companies or individuals who are willing to either give a monetary donation or who will sponsor our organization to help us re-invigorate our once, thriving neighborhood.
