We are the Longest, continually running Community Theater in the State of Vermont and we need your help.  We have been doing shows since 1920, with our first performance on stage in 1921.  We will be celebrating our 100th anniversary in 2020.

We are attempting to raise funding to replace our existing heating system (that eats oil like no tomorrow) with a new more energy efficient cooling and heating system.  We are improving our theater week by week as we raise funds, obtain grants and garner donations such as yours.

AT this time we have to close our theater in November through the harsh winters of Vermont until April when we can open our theater up again for the season.  Our hope is to provide a live theater option to the residents of a Machine Tool town that is on the verge of a revival.  Our shops have closed down and many residence have fled, but those of us that remain are working hard to create an artistic and youth/family/all inclusive community that provides alternatives to the humdrum of social media, are respite from the negative news we are inundated with day after day.  We want to provide a safe space for all, a place to be unique, explore talents and creativity in an ever diversifying world.

We can do so much more for the community and it's youth, families, singles, and elderly if we could stay open year round.

It's not cheap to retrofit an old school building built back in the 1930's but it's our home and the Springfield School board and the voters of Springfield alike, see the value in letting us live here during our seasons.  We feel the responsibility to give back as much as we can to those that support us now and future supporters of the live arts.

So please, dig deep and give what you can, every little bit helps.  If you cannot donate monetarily, please take a moment to pass our plea along on your favorite social media outlet.  Tell your friends to help us pass along the request as well.

Help us be a year round light in this all too dark world.  We can be your escape.

Thank you, in advance for your support.
