Greg & Maggie Need A Forever Home!
My name is Greg. My beautiful puppy Maggie and I currently live in a rundown motorhome in a rundown RV park just outside Fort Worth, but it's no longer safe for myself and Maggie. It's falling apart, leaking, and moldy. It's truly a death trap on wheels (that doesn't really move anymore). So, I am working to secure a better forever home.
Due to a kind gesture from the mother of my deceased wife, I have the opportunity of home ownership. It is a small house in need of substantial structural and remedial work, but it's plenty of space for me and would provide a yard for Maggie to run and play. Both of us will be able to enjoy healthier and happier lives.
I am a Navy Vet with physical and financial challenges, but this house is something I can turn into a home. The biggest obstacle is getting the house ready to pass inspection and qualify for the mortgage. The house needs foundation work, window repairs, woodwork, plumbing, electrical and paint. I am desperately underfunded and am appealing for help; my assessment is that I need about $5,000 to cover the repairs and satisfy inspection.
I am blessed to have physical help from friends and family, but I am now asking for financial help to get me though this major hurdle in my life.
