Greece wildfires: Search for missing family members, 80 people die as of today's record.
It is time to help Greece people in there, one of the most tragic disaster happened in their history.
"A search for survivors is continuing in Greece, where at least 80 people have died in wildfires near the capital Athens. Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras has declared three days of mourning. On Tuesday, the bodies of 26 adults and children who apparently died embracing each other were found on a cliff top. On Monday night, hundreds of firefighters battled the flames, which were fanned by winds of up to 100km/h (60mph).Rescuers are now searching houses, cars and the coastline for survivors and victims of the fires, amid fears the death toll will rise. Italy, Germany, Poland and France have all sent help in the form of planes, vehicles and firefighters, while Spain and Cyprus have also offered assistance." (BBC)
WHO IS RAISING THE FUNDS?
The idea of fundraising campaign was offered by some of the Turkish newcomers in Toronto and Northern Lights Relief Foundation , member of an umbrella organization Anatolian Heritage Foundation ( AHF) , has been coordinating the event.
- Northern Lights Relief Foundation (NLRF) is a non-profit organization that brings together teams of volunteers to collaborate on humanitarian aid and disaster relief efforts.

- AHF is established as a non-governmental, not-for-profit organization with the mere purpose of bringing people together with interest in the Canadians and Turkish cultures. AHF currently has 21 members from all around Canada.

%100 of the total raised money will be forwarded directly to the needy people in Greece via Greek officials in Canada.
