A New Roof for Grandma Gayle
Donation protected
Grandma Gayle filled her home with love, kids and grandkids - along with puppies and cats and a lamb named Sam! All on a few acres in Kansas.
Then her roof went missing - the first twister took it off and killed her geese - and the rain poured in; the second twister tore it off again and the rain poured in; and a third twister blew it all the way to Colorado for all she knows - and the rains still pours in.
The first roof the Mennonites salvaged and rebuilt, the second her brother and family picked up and put back on, but this third time-there's not much left - not of the roof and not of the inside of her home which is soaked and moldy.
Grandma Gayle needs your help to keep the rain from coming in! There's still a grandkid at home to take care of and she needs a warm, dry place to finish out her schooling. Help us purchase a small single wide trailer with a roof that doesn't leak.
It's really important to do this before the snow flies-she can empty the buckets of rain water, but shoveling snow from the living room floor is asking a bit much - even from someone as hard-working as Grandma Gayle!
We would be so grateful for any support you can spare - and Grandma Gayle, well, she'd raise the roof - but I'm afraid that's already been done - 3 times!
