Paradise Camp Fire

We are a Team of people from usmessageboard. We met Gracie ( an online name) there and she has been a friend of various people there for 10 years. Gracie has had a hard time the past 2 years.  She lived in Central California renting the same residence for about 25 years. A year and a half ago the property owner passed away and the home was sold.  The new rent she was unable to afford. She found herself homeless and living in her van for a few months with her dog. She eventually moved to Paradise California after finding a room for rent that she could afford and who would allow her dog to be there too. She is in her middle 60's and on a small income.  Her dog passed away when she moved to Paradise and she was heartbroken. She began to feed stray cats and she got close to her landlord's dog as a solace for her own grief and losses. She is communicating from a phone in her van with two cats and a dog. She was able to stay at a motel 6 for a couple of days. All of the shelters are filled up. She also has two stray cats, the landlord and the landlords dog with her in her van. Our goal as her online friends is that we really want to raise enough money for her to buy a used mobile home in a fire-free safe area to settle in. Because of health issues, her age and limited income we are hoping she will get enough to relocate and settle somewhere permanently. Gracie(Brenda offline name) will be the one to withdraw the money. Please Help if you are able to. Even if you can't donate a lot, $5 will help her and her pets for a day. A little goes a long way.
