Gordon the Wiener Dog has been diagnosed with IVDD (Intervertebral Degenerative Disc Disease). He's been suffering with spinal pain for 6 weeks. It is believed that he has a ruptured disc in his neck. However, the last quote for just an MRI, was for $2500. The total quote for surgery was "starting at $6000."
Of course, we are getting a second opinion from a local-ish teaching hospital for small animals. Those estimates run in the $4000-4500 range. Either way, we are preparing to give Gordon everything he needs, whatever the cost.
If you would like to contribute to Gordon's surgery fund, it would be appreciated. I'm not looking to have the whole surgery covered by contributions - just a little help with the burden. Also, Gordon would be happy to lick everyone who donates.
