Sidney Walton, 99,  born Feburary 11, 1919 in New York City, is NOW one ofthe oldest WWII Veterans left in the United States!!!!!!!!

His son, Paul from San Diego, quit his job 5 years ago to take Dad on a bucket-list journey.  He thankfully has lived longer than Paul could have imagined and is still yearning to see more including Normandy, Dunkirk, Japan, and  India where he fought in the 3rd Theater of WWII known as CBI (China, Burma, India.)

More than likley you have had the chance to meet Sidney since you are visiting this page that has a link from his website gosidneygo.  Thank you for engaging with him, as he loves all the people he meets along the way.

The proceeds raised from this site will be used to care for him on a daily basis, and to continue his desire to see more of this country and the world.  His monthly pension is his only source of income and it simply does not stretch far enough to take him to all of the places he would like to see before he turns 100!

There are other ways to help too!  Perhaps you are, or know someone in the airline industry that could donate passes or miles.  Hotel points and even car rental certificates could be utilized as well... really, anything helps!

Thank you kindly for reading this and hopefully helping this special World War ll Veteran remain out of assisted living and able to experience this beautiful world that he once saved!

Dear Facebook friends of Dad,

GREAT NEWS/GOOD NEWS

The great news is Dad on August 11th will be 98 1/2, is still hanging in there and is now one of the oldest World War II Vets in the country.

The good news is even though there have been unexpected medical and caregiving expenses depleting his account and incurring a sizable debt,
with generous donations sent to GoFundMe he will be able to keep going in my care without living the rest of his years in a VA facility.

As difficult as it is to ask you for assistance, could you also kindly share this post on your Facebook page,  Instagram, Twitter and any other social media of your choice.

The website is www.GoSidneyGo.com.

Thank you, and with your help let's hope that he can make it to at least 100!

Paul Walton (his only son.)
