Help my Mom and Dad

Donation protected

On Father's Day June 19, 2016, which also happened to be my Mother's Birthday, my parent's second story deck collapsed. With no warning or loud cracks or anything, it just fell.  It fell in sections.  My father and I were on the first section. I only suffered a few scratches and bruises, but my father on the other hand was unconscious. His injuries were as follows....major concussion, facial fractures, separated shoulder, three broken ribs, and a collapsed lung. He is still currently in the hospital and has undergone surgery a few days ago to remove an infection and more fluid found around his lung.
The second section that fell had my mother on it. She has two broken ankles, one which was an open fracture, which had to be surgically repaired with plates and screws. She just got home from the rehabilitation center. She will be in a wheelchair for the next 8 weeks.
We had to rent the ramps just for her to get in and out of the house and wheelchair proof the house basically. The rentals are pretty costly and not covered by health insurance. The deck and other damages more or less will not be covered by home owners insurance due too a ten year statute of limitations.
My parents are two of the most helpful and generous people you would ever meet. My mother has been a nurse for about 35 years, and is always everyone's go to person for medical questions and any assistance they need.
My Father is an Ex Marine and retired police officer, currently works for the Township, in which they live, Monday-Friday after that he cuts about 8 lawns in the neighborhood, constantly helps people with moving or fixing stuff they need around the house. This man is an unbelievable human being.
Together they have 5 children. Myself being the oldest, an Army Veteran. My sister who is 6 months pregnant. My brother, an active duty Marine. My sister, a physical therapist. And my youngest brother, who graduated high school the Thursday falling this incident.
They are also the best grandparents anyone could hope for, to my son (who witnessed the incident from the only part of the deck that didn't collapse) and my sister's daughter.

I can't express enough how deserving my parents are of every bit of help they can get.  As far as I'm concerned, they are super heroes. They are incredibly strong to have been getting through this so far. Myself and my family appreciate any and all donations, every little bit counts. Thank you for taking the time, have a blessed day.
