It is with a heavy heart that we share with you today that Philipson’s father, Jean Robert Georges, passed away on the afternoon of Saturday, April 20th. He was only 65 years old.
He was one of the first missionary to one of Haiti's coastal towns, Montrouis. Fearless, he was determined to bring the truth of the Gospel to those who had yet to hear. He pioneered several churches and his ministry touched so many lives throughout his years and set an example of walking by faith, serving others and never giving up. The majority of his seven Children have followed in his footsteps, pioneering new works, and spreading the Gospel in Haiti and the nations of the world.
Planning a funeral in Haiti can be very stressful, expensive and difficult to deal with. The family is currently in need of $8500 USD to cover all the funeral expenses. Please pray about standing with the family financially as they make arrangements for their beloved father.
