Let's help Santi beat cancer!

On March 15, Santiago the 24-year-old Soccer player was feeling tired and was not recovering well after each game he played. The team doctor decided to run some blood tests to check if everything was good. We never imagined the results would be so bad and Santi would be diagnosed with Leukemia. A biopsy was performed the next morning, and just confirmed everything the doctors saw in his first tests.

He is currently in the hospital in Honduras, while they raise his platelets and he can start treatment as soon as possible. He will begin an intense treatment on March 23rd. Santi will then go through chemotherapy and possibly radiation followed by a bone marrow transplant. Afterwards, treatment and recovery will come by hospital visits and an intense cleaning treatment.

Anybody that knows Santi knows he would do anything to help anyone...family, friends even a stranger. This will be a difficult road for him and his family emotionally, physically, and financially. The current treatment plan has us hopeful but will leave Santi unable to play soccer for several months and leave the sole burden for the family's care on his young wife’s shoulders.  Along with increasingly daunting medical expenses, travel to and forth for both, care expenses for his loving little boy and general cost of living, the total sum this family will end up facing is exorbitant. Due to all of these reasons, we would appreciate for you to consider gifting the family any amount you can spare and to please keep them all in your thoughts and prayers.

We want to help Santi battle this terrible disease and we do not plan to leave him or his family alone. We want him back, playing soccer, doing what he does best and fully cured.

As the daughter of the team's president, my family and I want to help Santi win this battle.

WE WANT THIS AMAZING HUSBAND, FATHER, FRIEND AND SOCCER PLAYER BACK IN THE GAME.

Please help us spread the word!
