20 Cats, One Chance to Save Them

Tax deductible
Pine Brook Care Center, Manalapan NJ insists on the removal of a managed cat colony residing in the forest woods where cats and wildlife have lived forever. There are no complaints yet suddenly the cat family must be evicted or killed all because their homes have been repeatedly vandalized by employees. Our cats have been lured into the basement whose door remains open through the night.  Management refuses to meet or investigate these claims, stating they have no control over what employees do and do not do on their property.  Instead, turned their security camera away from the area, intentionally obstructed justice and aided in criminal mischief. Asking cat families to vacate places their lives in danger.   The lack of concern for the prolific vandalism, animal theft, harassment of me is disturbing especially given the fact that it is only a matter of time that people who inflict pain and suffering on animals carry that behavior over to humans.

We need to raise  $1,1000 to trap cats, pay veterinary expenses, purchase or rent a trailer, holding cages, disassemble several houses. Now there are associated attorney fees . Please help protect these beautiful cats from animal trafficking. #JustGive  to save them!

We worked diligently to create a lovely sanctuary for these innocent animals, literally from dirt. We have improved the property by clearing a pathway, removing dead tree branches and leaves and spreading natural pest control. They are fed twice per day, in rain, sleet, snow, have houses built just for them and we created an atmosphere of love.  People would accidently stumble upon it were in awe of the cats and their attractive homes. It is a labor of love and very costly to manage in the watershed woods.  That is why in 2013 we formed a 501(c)(3) non-profit to give them the best possible life while living outside.

Many intact cats are dumped each year in addition to an occasional house cat.  Followers may remember the story of two black house cats, Bert and Ernie,  abandoned there Christmas Day, my spending hours with Manalapan Police and the SPCA. Through networking, I was able to locate a wonderful home, keeping them together.

We have cared for this colony for 15++ years. Unfortunately,  a jealous employee partnered with a rival rescue(s) to undermine the colony, going behind our back to property owners who now wants us gone. Shame on them. They want what we created and set out to destroy, then own it.  Motive? Follow the money trail. Individuals have been stealing cats from this location for years. Please book-mark this story because in the not too distant future some other "group" will be fundraising publicly or silently for a cat colony at this same Manalapan, NJ location. They are a cluster of associated groups not currently sharing this story and will not assist if you ask. Then you will know who the individuals are. Petition

Recently,  these cats have experienced great loss, the theft of their brothers by the unscrupulous.  Smokey, one of our sweetest cats was ripped from his family and is still missing.

Odin
is the second stolen cat.
