OpenPilot for FlexRay Vehicles (Audi, BMW, Merc)

My name is Basil Triscari. I am an Engineer and Technologist that has been in IT/Networking Voice and Video for over 20 years. My real passion in life is the automobile. The purpose of GoFundMe is to raise capital to develop a solid FlexRay solution to bring compatibility to vehicles that leverage the FlexRay communication protocol for steering which would enable L2 autonomy. Cars that I see the community supporting would be BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, and Volvo. I anticipate us needing roughly 25k to compensate the talented individuals that will be working on the prototype and ultimately delivering a product to the OpenPilot community. Individuals that donate 1k or more will get a FlexRay board for their contribution.
