Findhorn Foundation - Esalen Exchange

My name is Christine Lines and I live and work in the Findhorn Foundation and Community in northern Scotland, a spiritual community, ecovillage and centre for holistic learning.

I have a varied role within the community which I love! This includes writing community news articles and reporting on conferences and events for our website www.findhorn.org I'm currently writing the Annual Report and editing the booklet for our Easter Conference, EarthSings. 

I also hold guest programmes, co-focalise the FF Council and
co-ordinate our global network of resource people in 32 countries who share the spirit of Findhorn with the world. It's a joy to connect with new visitors to the community, engage more deeply with the co-workers here and support our representatives in the world.

I'm passionate about the interconnectedness of our global community and co-ordinate the website www.centersgathering.org In April 2013 I plan to participate in the annual Holistic Centres Gathering for the fourth consecutive year, which will be held at Esalen Institute 14 - 19 April www.esalen.org

I'll be attending the Gathering as part of the community exchange partnership between the Findhorn Foundation and Esalen and am seeking creative ways to fund my travel related expenses to the USA.

This event is a wonderful opportunity to meet with peers from other centres around the world and exchange ideas, support and inspiration in a joyful atmosphere of warmth and friendship. It's also an invaluable way to strengthen connections and be immersed in reciprocal learning about our different centres and explore their role in the world...
