Fighting for Aidan

Donation protected
My very good friend, who is like a sister to me, rushed her son Aidan into PICU this week, after seeing multiple doctors and being told it was nothing to worry about and go home. Finally, Elisha decided to take measures into her own hands and drive him to a local children’s hospital, where he was diagnosed with Astrocytoma within hours. She was told there was a huge tumor on Aidan’s spine, and that he may never walk, or breathe, on his own again.

This sweet boy who walked into that hospital, was showing signs of paralysis within hours of being admitted. He currently cannot move his legs, arms and is struggling to breathe on his own. They’ve already performed one surgery to release some pressure on his spinal cord, and will have another surgery soon to try and remove some of the tumor and to determine if it's cancer. Poor Aidan may never walk again, and possibly breathe on his own. Either way, he will struggle to do anything in life the same.

This little boy, so full of life, loves sports (football most of all), is an avid Raiders fan (his favorite player being Derek Carr), and adores his mother, who raises him. She may have to leave her job, get on disability, and find a way to pay her bills, and take on the new reality that she is facing, therapies, mobility restrictions, in home care, months in the hospital, nothing will be the same again. We are asking for your help, any dollar amount will do, to offset some of the costs for this new struggle she is facing.

Thank you, Jaime King.
