Providing food/clothes to homeless

Hi my name is Gary I'm a dad/Chef
One day while talking to some Friends and fellow cooks we heard the news that our area has 13.1% of Los Angeles counties homeless but only 2.1% of the county's funding for the homeless, this means a large amount of kids in our area are not able to get a solid meal(s) due to the lack of funding and for some kids with school out for summer there goes their meal(s) for the day/week! This broke our hearts. As you see in the picture we have Tent cities where kids and their families are living.
So my friends and i have decided to put our talents and time into this endeavor,but we can only do so much.
So we come to you,asking for help
Every dime you send will go to making sure we can
provide the best meals and clothes we can for these kids,Elderly and their families.
We are hoping to reach 100-200 people a day, this does not of course reach them all but we are trying with your help to grow into providing these meals on a daily basis Bascially making sure these kids don't miss out on even one meal.we can only do it with your help.
The Money goes towards
Purchasing of all cooking equiptment such as Stoves/Fridges etec...,
The food with the help of donations
Staying lawyered up so we are abiding by all state and city laws
and
Rental kitchen because we have to have state certified kitchens to provide this food until a facility can be had where we have a full time staff and shelter for thes people who need our help the most.
The ultimate goal is to become a solid food source for those with no food options.
