Ed Voyles Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is a proud supporter of the United Way and their efforts to STOP Childhood Hunger in our Community!
Thousands of Cobb County children are enrolled in a free or reduced meal program during the school year. When summer break begins, the majority of these children are left without meals for the entire summer. Some will receive food through a summer program. Others will not. We can’t end it, but together with your help, we can silence the hunger in our community.
•Children who struggle with hunger are likely to be sick more often, to recover from illness more slowly and to be hospitalized more frequently.
•Children who struggle with hunger are also more likely to experience headaches, stomach aches, colds, ear infections and fatigue.
•In the U.S. today, 16 million children face hunger – that’s 1 in 5.
