Almost exactly a year ago, I was sitting on this rooftop in Cambodia. Seeing familiar faces and places, a rush of memories came flooding through my mind. I remember my teammate, Derik was enamored by the sunset and we sat on the same rooftop looking out at the beauty.
A word was spoken to me a year ago that there would be something God wanted to walk me through but it wouldn't happen until I finished my race. I remember feeling confused and began trying to figure out all the different possibilities of what it could be. Fast forward a year later, I am sitting on the same rooftop with the same man that spoke those original words to me. He said he got a word for our squad and our time there and it was reconciliation. The second he said the word reconciliation all the dots began to connect from that last year. Reconciliation was what he was talking about a year ago and today I got to share with my squad the power of those words because God had done that in my life over the past year.
Month 4 debrief was something I will never forget. (Debrief is a time that our whole squad can come together for fellowship, worship, teachings, rest and time to debrief the past few months.) Through the power of reconciliation we make room for the Father's love to invade that space that had been closed off from Him. When someone encounters the Father's love in a tangible and experiential way, it changes everything. That is what these last 4 months of squad leading has produced. I saw and experienced the deep love of the father's heart captivate hearts. I saw the father's heart bring restoration and push people back to their original design.
That is something I want to be a part of for the rest of my life. I want to continue being equipped and growing in this so that I can partner with Him to bring revival one person at a time. God gave me the word 'shalom' at the beginning of my time squad leading back in October. I began doing a word study and learned it doesn't just mean peace but it goes farther to say, "restoring things back to their original design." Through the Father's love that is possible, that we can experience our original design here on earth and walk in our true identity. I have had amazing opportunities to impart this to others because God first walked me through this and He still is. God has heavily placed this on my heart to continue diving deeper into the Father's love and helping others do this as well. There is an opportunity to make this dream continue to come to life. There is a ministry called 'Father Heart Ministry' and they have week long trainings that solely focus on this topic. When people's hearts are changed everything else changes as well. I deeply feel this call on my life and want to continue bringing this to others all around me.
Would you be interested in joining me on this journey. I can't thank you enough for all of the support thus far.
Thank you for joining me on this adventure God has placed me on and it wouldn't be possible without people like you partnering with me. I will continue sharing regular updates with you and would love to share in depth after this week long training with you.
