27372214_1523445839.4437_funddescriptionAs a lot of you know already, My sister Amy's husband Tad Dambrosi fell off a ladder yesterday from a 15 foot fall. He is in grave condition fighting for his life at Palomar Hospitals ICU. He fell backwards landing on the back of his head (Creating several brain bleeds & swelling), he has 9 broken ribs, a broken clavicle, a punctured lung, possibly other face fractures and injury to his shoulder. Tad was in surgery yesterday for 4 hours, Dr's were working on his head trauma removing parts of his skull to relieve some of the swelling/pressure. He has a long road to recovery. BUT he has JESUS and that gives him the best odds of all!
We want to thank you all so much for your outpouring love and prayers- we are numb and in shock- the Drs have done what they can , and now we must wait.. we know we have a GOOD God and WE WILL trust in HIM! We will try and do updates.. please know how grateful and overwhelmed our family is by all the support!! Please pray for Complete healing on his brain and for the damaged parts to be completely restored- with the main focus on his brain right now. But we serve a GOOD GOD and WE will praise HiS name

We couldn’t have asked for a better trauma Dr., Dr. Steele is so kind and so loving and so patient for every question. He literally lets Amy cry and calmly reassures her, he is going to let her know every step.. and what he is actually feeling! .. and so we wait!

During this time, we want Amy to have the least amount of stress possible, Tad has always been the soul provider in their home, with Amy homeschooling and cooking the meals. They have been quiet the team! Amy and Tad have both been active in their church for many years at Cross Connection (Formally Calvary Chapel Escondido) They are a loving couple with 5 children, and many other kids (Friends of their children) they have adopted as their own. They have opened their home too, and fed, given rides to and from, supported and loved on as their own.

It would be so greatly appreciated if you would be able to provide a meal to their family, signing up on the "meal train" or donating money on this website, or to the "Go Fund Me" account soon to be created. Every dollar helps. Tad has VA Insurance, but we do not know how much of this tragedy will be covered. Medical expenses add up quickly and from the sounds of it, Dr's say he has a long road to recovery and he will never be the same again. So if you are unable to provide food or financially, please pray for Tad and his recovery. To Amy for being the glue right now, keeping a smile on her face for her children who are so worried, yet facing so many challenges ahead and being strong for everyone... and prayers to her children, who I stayed with last night and put them to sleep with tears in their eyes asking when does daddy get to come home? Peter always calling Tad his best friend.. and Cali always saying to daddy every night "I will see you tomorrow right? you're never going to leave me right?" as the Bible says ~ Psalm 145:18 "The Lord is near to ALL who call on Him." Let us come together for the Dambrosi Family. Thank you and we will continue to keep you up to date.

Praise God! Tad is coming home this Saturday! There is a lot of excitement to have daddy back home after 5 months in the hospital and rehab... there is also a lot of concern and fear for his safety... I pray for patience as Tads home in so many ways is going to be new to him... Amy has to put pictures everywhere showing the importance of things (such as a picture of a stove, showing it being hot... danger) little post it reminders... people have been so kind and purchased alarms for his bed and wheel chair in case he tries to be an escape artist again. If any of you seen the movie “50 First Dates” that is Tad’s new life...for the time being... praying for his memory to come back in full gear... And for people to offer help to Amy... even if it’s to hang out with Tad for an hour... or feed the dog.. you name it, it would be benificial to Amy. Even if she says “no it’s ok” insist lol . Amy will be having more appointments to be at between Tad and Peter.. and with transportation falling apart before our very eyes, her vehicle needs so much work... I have reached out to so many dealerships asking for help with a donation that has wheelchairs access and big enough to transport the whole clan... I’ve only heard back from one stating they are willing to sell a car at employee rate.. which is kind, but not do able at this point.. so if you have connections in that area... or connections to the Famous/Hollywood/Producers I’ve been racking my brains the last couple days trying to get contact info.. it’s so hard... unless you know someone.. it’s nearly impossible! I don’t even need to know their email.. I can forward the letter to you, to forward on to. I’ve been working on Drake, Oprah and Ellen Degeneres... no luck so far... so please pray for giving hearts to come our way...
In the mean time can we pray and try to make it to $21,000 by Saturday, before his discharge home! Time to celebrate Tad and his accomplishments, an incredible journey all made possible through our Savior Jesus Christ, Prayers, Amy and the kids and all of You! Let’s try to reach for the stars and go for 21,000 or better yet our goal $50,000! ⭐️
If anyone would like to reach me privately with questions, feel free to email me carrieclaxton1973@yahoo.com or call me at 760 270 0697
* Please keep in mind I work nights, so I most likely would be calling you back in the afternoon/evenings. Thank you for your patience and support...
Blessings!

It's Tad's 133rd day away from home... Let's make it a $5.00 Tad day for all his progress! Let's show him how proud we are of him... Instead of going out for taco's Tuesday .... let's go $5 Tad day all the way...
Tad has been working hard on puzzles, riding a stationary bike peddling away, walking flights of stairs, walking the halls (with a little help from the therapist) getting stronger everyday.. and anxious to come home.. although he has a few more weeks in rehab.. (He say's he's ready to come home) 4 hours of therapy each day... regaining that muscle! We are amazed.. and so are the Doctors!
Maybe Amy can do a live feed today.. showing Tad all of the love... and seeing all of the $5 coming in... (should bring a big smile to his face :)
Thank you ALL for your love, support.. prayers and encouragement! Much love to you all!
Blessings upon each of you....
