Expanding Influences was established in March 2018 by passionate community service workers who have been working within the field for over 15+ years. Eager to provide quality services in the South East Sydney region, We are a disability service provider who support adults from the ages of 18+ looking to build on their independence. Our mission is to provide reputable, reliable and enjoyable Vocational/life skills programs, in-house and community supports, Personal skill building & goal focused supports, transport, Social & recreational supports, Coordination of supports and individualised 1-1 supports. We work with person centred approaches and with a person's lifestyles and needs. We have an innovative and non judgemental approach, by having the customers lead how they best want their services delivered. Empowering the customer and providing as much control to the person on how they live their lives and how they recieve their services. We work with families who require advocating and support navigating through the NDIS process; as well as work with you to seek the right services for you so you can gain the most out of your plan. In order to support the disability community; Expanding Influence are asking for those that can to support us during our start up period in order to obtain the correct resources to have a fair go at building a quality service that puts people's needs first.     We have a lot of start up fees, registrations and insurances required when working and ensuring the people we service are covered, safe and comfortable. We will require resources such as a 12 seater van for easy transport services. Desks and chairs for class like comforts when teaching Vocational skills or living independence building programs. Interactive whiteboard and individual laptops (X10) to boost computer competency,  literacy and numeracy and upskill in inclusive social skills. Extra boost in funds to build on common amenities such as kitchen supplies-Microwaves, fridges, oven, bowls, plates, cups, cutlery, utensils, pots, pans, trays, tea towels, and other required necessities that can make up a kitchen. This will provide a hub for staff to be able to upskill and train customers in life skills such as meal prep and kitchen safety. In order for our customers to live quality life experiences and gain the skills to better independence within a safe learning environment. Staff will require an operational office that will need office equipment such as, printer, scanner, internet connection, desks, PC’s and monitors, desks and chairs, other required equipment that can make up an office. This will provide a hub for staff to provide informal and formal supports to their customers, as well as to up skill customers in their computer compentency. We are very dedicated to building an inclusive company that will encourage strength in the surrounding community.
