Eric's Medical Recovery Fund

Eric Dacus is an Nurse Anesthetist student at Arkansas State University. On August 1st, 2015 Eric visited the emergency room after passing out at home. He was subsequently diagnosed with a Saddle Pulmonary Embolus (a clot that saddles the main pulmonary trunk), and several other clots were found in both of his legs and throughout his lungs. He was emergently flown to a higher level of care. Only being 28 years old this has been a extremely scary time for Eric and his family. Eric started nurse anesthesia school in January of 2015. Prior to school he worked at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital as an ICU nurse. He is an excellent, caring nurse on his way to become a Certified Registered Nurse anesthetist.  At this time he has been in the hospital for almost two weeks. He has not been given a discharge date. He is unable to stand for long periods of time and has a long recovery ahead of him. His friends and family are starting a GOFUNDME account to assist him with his medical cost and recovery.
