Hi I am starting this campain for Emma my 5 year old Flatcoated Retriever .
Emma was diagnosed on Monday with cancer of her spleen and liver . She stopped eating and was off. After a vet visit .We ended up at a Emergency Vet . We had to scrample to come up with the 1700 to just get started with treatment . At the end of the day and two blood transfusions the bill has skyrocketed to 3800 . It has been a tough year for our family Dad also has cancer and a lot of other issues has drained most of my resorses .
After getting her biopsey and blood transfusions Emma is finally on her first round of Drugs to fight this terrable Cancer .
Today I woke up and she was week and needed another Transfusion .She is getting that now . They say if can be another 7to 10 days before the dugs have a chance . Each Transfusion is about 800 she may need several more . The meds are at least 400 every 3 weeks .
I love Emma she has had one litter and is a mom . I live with her two of her Kids and several other Flatcoated Retrievers . We Are a family . I am hart Broked and very worried .
I work very hard but just cant keep up with this cost of treetment .
She is a amazing girl and is a wonderfull friend I am not sure what else to wright
I am putting this out there on the suggrestion of a few of my friends . Any thing anyone can do to help Emma will make a big difference in her life and being able to keep treating her and give her a chance
All of this happened in just 5 days .
It is not easy to ask for help . But for Emma I will .
