Elizabeth Sammons Transplant Fund

Elizabeth Sammons is 31 years old and has been tackling health challenges related to congenital heart failure for years. Recently, her doctors told her it's time, and this week, Liz is transitioning to inpatient care while she awaits a heart transplant. Liz is married to Dustin, who has SMA and is confined to a wheel chair.

First and foremost, Liz and Dustin are asking for your prayers! Second to that, they would be so grateful for any financial support you can provide in this season. Liz's current energy levels do not permit her to work full-time, but she will continue to work part-time from the hospital while she waits. She will, however, need to take time off from work following the transplant to rest and recover.

In addition to this and other medical expenses, Dustin will take on the added expense of regular commutes to and from the hospital, parking fees, and dining on-the-go as he dotes on his wife. The goal of this fundraiser is to alleviate the financial burden of these and other transplant-related expenses so that Liz can focus on getting well and Dustin can focus on...well, Liz!
