Ever since I can remember I have been dealing with my gender dysophoria. In my early teens I did a lot of research on others like myself and came to find there were ways to change the fact I was born in to a female body although I never had any support in doing so. Recently last year my partner and I found doctors who could help me being in Maine there really wasn't many resources out there but we did find someone. Last year I started my journey in becoming who I have always felt I was inside by starting testosterone treatments I have come out to all of my family and friends and I am lucky to have them and their support. I came out at a late age 27 years old it has taken a great deal of time for me to come to grasp with this. But I am so much more happy with who I am, although I have found comfort in all of my transition so far I still am very much so uncomfortable with my body. Top surgery is very costly just to do on my own and I have recently lost my health insurance. I want to finally feel completely who i am. I would very much appreciate any help I could get.
