Electa's Medical Bills & Ticket

I am Florence Njoyi setting up this drive to help Electa Asheuh Vigho (28 years old)  who is in a hospital in Thailand to pay her medical bills and flight ticket to Kumba Cameroon. Electa is from Small Babanki, North West Region of Cameroon but she grew up in Kumba, South West Region of Cameroon. Her  mother,  daughter and all of her family members except her junior brother Nshom Eric are in Cameroon.

Working closely with Electa's junior brother Nshom Eric vigho who is Thailand, we come to you to share Elaecta's story and request for help.

Miss Electa Asheuh Vigho (28 years) left Cameroon on the 22 July 2013 to Thailand in the quest to better her life and career.  A dream every young person would like to pursue.  She arrived  safely at Bangkok on the 23 July 2013. Electa's life took an ugly turn the next day of her arrival. 

She took a bus to  Pabon the South of Thailand. Everything seem okay during the ride and arrival, but within a second when she was  crossing the road she was seriously hit by a car. She suffered a severe brain injury that had left her severely disabled per the reports from the  Phatthalung hospital where she has been receiving treatment since the accident a year and a half ago.

Per the impression of Ratchaneekom Oornas M,D, Radiologist, Electa's brain had an increase  homogeneous hypodensity lession and loss of gray white matter interface at the left cerebral hemisphere, right frontal, right temporal and right occipital regions, compatible with diffuse swelling, multiple fractures, intrainus hemorrhage  causing uncal hemiation. Elaecta had undergone two brain surgeries,  

Electa at this point in her treatments needs only Physical therapy per her treatment team and these services can be provided in Cameroon per the advise of the treatment team. Currently, she is not talking or walking. She is still in the hospital because she needs to pay the bills before being dismissed from the hospitals. Electa had no health insurance. Her current hospital bill is about $35,000.

The family wish to take Electa back to Kumba Cameroon after her dismissal from the hospital to continue  physical therapy . To take Electa to Cameroon in her condition will probably cost about $5000 . She will need to be accompanied by the medical team.
