Ecstatic Dance Growing to Greatness

Ecstatic Dance Parties (EDP) are known around the world for a safe place to be free, experience your own movement, heal and have fun in community.

After attending EDP events in Toronto, I personally found Ecstatic Dance helped me to heal my story of recovering from a divorce, coping with grief from the death of my dad and starting life on my own for the very first time.
With falling in love with dancing to the beat of my own drum, I decided to bring Ecstatic Dance Parties, under my Live Life Colourfully brand, north of Toronto to Newmarket, Ontario to give others the same amazing experience of music & movement.

After holding 4 EDP, people have fallen in love with the events however, in order to continue to provide an opportunity to host these events, more funds are needed until word has spread and people become regular attendees.

I have been funding this from my own personal account as my business is just coming back to life after my 3 year sabbatical to heal my own journey.

Aside from marketing, advertising, graphic design work etc., costs include the venue, DJ equipment rental, purchasing pre made DJ sets and a live musician.

I have been able to maintain supporting local artists and musicians, such as dulcimer, viola and drumming musicians and I rent the venue from a non profit museum in order to support my community.

By you helping to support the growth of this event, you are helping people find a space to be free, release stress, exercise easily, dance to the beat of their own drum and connect with amazing, like-minded individuals.

It’s my goal to keep Ecstatic Dance Parties available in the Newmarket area for all to enjoy for the remainder of 2017 and into 2018. Your support is beyond appreciated and I’m extremely grateful. Keep Living Life Colourfully and hope to see you at an EDP soon!
