Glenn Dickson shark attack victim

$55,613 of $100,000 goal

Raised by 598 people in 29 months
We all know Glenn as a dedicated father to his beautiful children and a loving partner to his fiancé Jessie Lee.

Glenn has a long battle ahead with his recovery after a shark bite to his leg - an attack that could have potentially been fatal if it wasn't for the quick thinking of his good mates whilst out on a leisurely fishing trip in the beautiful North Queensland.

Whilst Glenn recovers (which will not be an easy road ahead) The bills still come flowing in - rent/car payments/insurances/food & fuel etc as well as the addition of Glenn and Jessie Lee's third bundle of joy in June.. to be able to take this burden off of this wonderful family would help in some ways, ease the pain of watching the man they love tackle the biggest emotional and physical hurdle of his life.

Please rally together to show support for a man that dedicates his life to helping others.

I have personally been close friends with Glenn's Fiance Jessie-Lee for 5 years - i intend to have all funds donated released into Jessie Lee and Glenn's personal bank accounts at their request.

To Dear AMBER EDWARDS. You're truly a shinning✨example, of what real friendships are honestly about. Ur idea on starting this Go Fund Me Page, at such a very DIFFICULT time, in honour of your friends Glen & Jessie, was so vital to them. And very thoughtful of YOU.Think of all the added duress & stress its so widely HEARTFELT♥️. Thank you Amber. To Dear Glen & Jessie. I do not know you. But I am sending positive energies & healing vibes, along with Prayer'sGlen's way. There is no doubts he has a long way to go. But is a very strong willed minded man. I am sharing this GFM page, in the hope's from doing so, that many moreon FB or Social Media, anywhere possible really, that this may help, reach the target required to the recovery costs & big roads ahead for Glen here. I will be thrilled to watch this list CONTINUING to grow. rapidly upwards of course & very greatfully! Hoping the true spiritedness, kind, hearted MANY wonderful people get behind this here in . Because EVERYONE'S donation matters. Cmon "Glen soon you will be out there mate & continue doing what you love most, because you can. Even with one leg bud, anything is possible.. The recovery road will be a long one & make you strong once again.

Amber could you please pass this message on to Glenn and Jessie Lee, My husband and I seen your story on 60 minutes tonight and we feel for you both as we have been through similar I want to get in contact with you in regard to Glenn being knocked by Centrelink for DSP, My husband Doug Stubbs was also knocked back after losing his arm in a motorcycle accident nearly 2 years ago, You may have seen us all over the TV earlier this year following our knockback with Centrelink. The reason you would have been knocked backed is the injury would have not been fully diagnosed, treated and stabilised, I would love to be able to chat to you about it, we are on our 3rd application for DSP and in July we will be facing our 2nd Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) And we are awaiting the outcome 3rd DSP Application at the moment. If is comes through we can cancel the AAT.. 0402 199 257, I can ring you if you want to flick me a text with your number Regards Susan and Doug Stubbs Collingwood Park Qld

I am going to get roused on when hubby gets his birthday present - the fish picture but so what! We have sons that hunt and spear fish. This could so happen to them, just rotten luck. You just go forward Glenn and Jessie! You are all in the thoughts and prays of many people. We don't know you personally but we love Amy and Levi who were our neighbours for a few years. xx

Screw you centrelink. I saw Glenn's story on 60 minutes ages ago and thought centrelink would realise their mistake and get it sorted. I don't know Glenn but was horrified to see ACA today. The Post Traumatic Stress let alone the physical trauma and ongoing medical and lifestyle expenses should entitle Glenn and his family to whatever assistance they feel they need. They are clearly not the bludging type and government assistance should be unquestionable! We shouldn't have to do their job for them. I'm sorry this is not much but I hope it will help. Good Luck, don't give up.
