Help raise funds to get Sophie back home and living more independently (or just donate to watch me suffer through a triathlon)!
A bit about Sophie
Sophie is a conservation scientist, musician, teacher, and all-around 100% on-it character. Like many others, she was a mentor and friend to me whilst I was at Bangor University.
Since suffering brain injury, Sophie and her family and friends have been raising funds to help her move home. Contributions to this campaign will go to the Sophie Williams Trust, supporting Sophie's care and allowing her to live more independently.
The Slateman Triathalon
On the 19th of May, I'll (hopefully!) be completing the Slateman Triathlon in North Wales. This will be a 1km swim, 51km cycle, and 11km run in the beautiful Snowdonia mountains of North Wales - a very special landscape for Sophie.
A shout out to Draig Beats Festival 2019
Draig Beats Festival 2018 was a fantastic success - great fun and raised an impressive amount for the Sophie Williams Trust.
Draig Beats 2019 is going to be even bigger and better!
"Draig Beats will be held on Saturday the 8th of June 2019 from 10am until 8pm in Treborth Botanic Garden. It’s a family friendly, fundraising event with plenty of live music, workshops, vegan food & drink and lots of activities to keep the kids busy!"
