O'Dooley White (aka Dooley, Doodlebug, Doodles)
Dooley had surgery today (12/15/17) to remove a tumor on his spleen. Unfortunately, when the doctors went to remove it, they found out the tumor had spread. He will need ongoing treatment to help him battle this disease.
If you know Kathleen White, you know Dooley. Or perhaps, you know Dooley and have no idea who his owner is. Dooley is a special dog who easily makes connections with those around him. If you have ever visited him at home, you know he will greet you with a gift- usually a toy or a random shoe. (or if you are missing a shoe when you go to leave, Dooley probably offered it up to someone who entered the home after you...)
Dooley's caring nature is a reflection of his owner Kathleen who has dedicated her life to helping and seving others. She has worked in schools, hospice, and now helping others find jobs. She works hard to give back to others, and Dooley is often by her side assisting in that special way only dogs can do to bring smiles to those around him.
Dooley is also an prominent member in the community often accompanying Kathleen to stores, work, or walks at the beach. You may have also seen him out with his girlfriend Daisy, another goldendoodle.
When my dog Louie was in the hospital, Kathleen had tried to anynonmously pay some of his medical bills (the office didn't know it was a secret, which is the only reason I found out). Kathleen is always giving to others, and I am reaching out to you for help to give back to her and show her how much Dooley has touched the lives of those around him.
If you can't give money, please say a prayer for Dooley.
I will try to provide medical updates as they happen.
Thank you for reading,
Caitlin
