Doctors in Our Circle-Dominica Aid

On Monday, September 18th 2017, Hurricane Maria dealt a devastating blow to Dominica, and has left the island with at least 95% of its infrastructure either damaged or destroyed. The effect on Princess Margaret Hospital can only be described is catastrophic.
It is in the setting of this dire need in Dominica that a group of Dominican doctors based in Dominica and the United states have come together to brainstorm on how we can assist our country in recovering from this great loss, and to help to alleviate the human suffering of our colleagues and indeed the entire population. Other doctors and medical professionals from the US have also joined us in this humanitarian relief effort. We have decided to focus our efforts in the areas of the provision of all categories of medical supplies with an understanding that some will be needed more urgently than others, and with the provision of Medical/Nursing personnel as the need arises. As such we are reaching out to all organizations and institutions who can help us in achieving this goal.
