Dental Tragedy

My 42 year old daughter had stomach surgery a few years ago. They nicked the Vegas nerve. This caused gastroparesis, a condition which makes the stomach unable to digest food. She was constantly throwing up, which caused acid to completely destroy her teeth. We tried unsuccessfully to sue the surgeon.

She became homeless and almost died. Finally we took her in when no one else would help her. She is much better, and is trying to find work to get out on her own. Her teeth keep breaking off. She needs to have them all removed and get dentures.


We have funded the transportation for several of the removals, since she needs to go to Chicago on the train and cabs both ways. However, my husband lost his job two years ago, and we have an autistic 23 year old son, a 22 year old daughter trying to get independent, and two grandchildren living with us. We can't get on public aide. My husband is looking for work. He was a specialized computer systems manager, and has to change gears. We will be fine.


I am asking for help only to get her teeth removed and her dentures made, so that she can get out on her own. The rest we can do on our own. Please consider helping her. She and we, will be forever grateful for giving her back her dignity and self esteem. God Bless you!
