Dawn's Seminary Education Fund

I am Dawn Welburn and this is my story. As long as I can remember, I have been fascinated by religions and spirituality. Questioning, thinking, pondering, studying...  For the past few decades, my spirituality has been mostly a solitary journey of myself with myself, learning..questing...pushing myself deeper. I have heard the Call of Service for quite some time, and stepped into it with baby steps here and there. I would tell myself that it was silly of me to think about Seminary and Ministry. Well, that Call has gotten too loud to ignore.  Goddess will no longer allow me to play this human game as a bystander. It is time for me to step fully into myself AND play a larger role in Service. Therefore, I have applied to, and been accepted into the OneSpirit Interfaith Seminary program and am set to begin classes in early September. This is a two year program that will culminate in my Ordination as an Interfaith Minister.

Here is where I need your help. Many of you may know that I moved from NYC to my mother's home in Louisiana last year, to help her and my stepfather through health issues.  My financial situation is therefore ...a work in progress.

My tuition and fees costs for Seminary this year are approximately $4500, plus books and transportation to the year end Intensive in NY. Any donation that you can make to assist me in my journey will be greatly appreciated. I thank you for your thoughts, your prayers and your donations.
