Funds for Our Campers
Located in the inner city of Wilmington, DE -Darul Amaanah Academy strives to implement core Islaamic teachings along with a disciplined secular structured education for inner city kids. Most of the kids that join Darul Amaanah Academy are from impoverished areas where the school system has failed them and their hopes of succeeding through education. The goal of Darul Amaanah Academy is to instill the love of learning by building self confidence, discipline, and hope in every student that walks through that door.
This summer, Darul Amaanah Academy has run a Summer Enrichment Camp for students and newcomers. Starting with just a humble 4 campers, Darul Amaanah grew to 30+ campers this year!
With limited funds, the team at Darul Amaanah has provided adventurous outings, fun activities, and even transportation for the campers to enjoy themselves. We never stop working to ensure that kids can be kids and are not deprived due to circumstances beyond their control.
Our pockets are strained! We ask that you donate generously to help us:
- fund more trips
- provide transportation and after care
- ensure meals for children who live off one meal/day.
** WE are humbled at the outpour of support from our local communities and followers from all accross the USA due to the recent discrimination our camper have faced more than once at Brown Pool located in Wilmington, DE. We request that if you want to make a funding campaign of your own that you run it by us first so that we approve and know where funds are being raised. Darul Amaanah academy upholds the sacred Islaamic Teachings of honesty and trust. Again, we thank you.
