Dare Challenge Banquet

Dare Challenge is having their annual banquet on Saturday November 1. This banquet is the biggest financial fundraiser of the year for Dare Challenge helping to keep the center operating throughout the year. The banquet costs Dare Challenge 3800 to put on so we are asking for funding from family, friends and supporters to offset the cost so all funds raised at the banquet go directly into the ministry. OBDC is based upon the fact that man’s basic need is a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. People use drugs and alcohol in an attempt to fill the void in their lives that only Jesus can fill. When Jesus is genuinely received as Lord and Savior of a person’s life, a total transformation will follow. By that we mean that the person’s life will radically change. Jesus is not just interested in whether or not you go to church, or “have said a prayer”. He must be Lord of all of your life. In fact, He will deal with the attitude and motives of your heart.

Our mission here at Outer Banks Dare Challenge is to help people who have life-controlling problems and initiate the discipleship process to the point where the student can function as a Christian in society, applying spiritually motivated Biblical principle to relationships in the family, local church, chosen vocation and the community. OBDC endeavors to help people become mentally sound, emotionally balanced, socially adjusted, physically well and spiritually alive.
