Danni Kemp's Cancer Support Fund
Danni is the toughest young woman we have all ever met, and is more than ready to fight this. Her strong and indomitable will has already proven to be more than enough to battle and beat a rare kidney disease while she was in high school. This will be a battle but with so many people who know and love Danni and her Family, they’ve got an army behind them. With that being said, there are so many people looking to help so we’ve started with this page in hopes of raising money for the family to offset any costs that they may face in this upcoming battle.
Danni, Alyssa,Melinda and Cliff, will continually need all of the positive thoughts, prayers, support throughout these next few months. With a large community who loves this family, they will undoubtedly have the endless support that they need throughout this whole process. We ask that you please share this page on Facebook, through email, by word of mouth, etc. We want this page to reach the most people it possibly can.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and even if a donation isn’t possible, please send prayers and positive thoughts to Danni and the Kemp family. Let’s please do all we can as a community to help this family and Danni fight this battle with cancer.
I just wanted to give you all a quick update on Danni, I know it's been a while. Danni was admitted to the Hospital late yesterday afternoon after a routine visit with her Dr. the Dr. was concerned about her Blood Pressure being high and wanted to get it under control while under observation. They did another MRI and got the results which are all positive, the one from last Saturday and yesterday show that the tumor is NOT growing and that there are signs of necrosis within the tumor. They are not sure if that is from the Radiation, the Immunotherapy or the Avasitin or the combination of all 3. The Avastin creates some swelling so the Drs are trying to control that. Danni is in great spirits, laughing and joking with us and the staff at the hospital. We are hoping for a discharge today or tomorrow. Please keep Danni in your thoughts and prayers. #DanniStrong
smaller than when it was originally found. The center of the tumor seems to have a larger than usual area that is breaking down. More intense than usually seen after radiation therapy. This is why her scans have been reviewed and looked at by a lot of doctors and specialists around the country and world. They are all in agreement that it's due to the radiation treatments and the immunotherapy (Germany) combined. It appears at this point we have a lot of activity going on inside this tumor. Right now (and it's very early still), it looks as if we are giving this tumor a good battle! After two days of modified medications the nausea and dizziness seem to be gone and we should be able to reschedule her next Germany trip soon. We continue to look at other treatments and have several other trials in mind for down the road to continue to fight this tumor every step of the way. We want to
keep everyone as up to date as possible because we need your continued support and prayers. With all our love The Kemp's.
Danni, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I, too, have an inoperable brain tumor. I had a late Stage II early Stage III, oligodendroglioma. I had an 18 month chemo therapy via pills and no radiation. My tumor shrunk 50-75% within 7 months and has not changed over the last 9 years, 9 months. A nationally known surgeon told me to remember "you are not a statistic". And, given my health, statistically, I have a much better chance of long survival :*) I have no doubt you will trump the nasty. I will be following your site and cheering you on!
Danni, I think I met you once and it was a very long time ago when you were much younger and hung out with your Dad at his office at work. I feel like I know you so well because of the look in your Dad's eyes when he talks about you playing softball, bragging about about you and your sister, giving me all of your softball stats , showing me videos, you name it. I could write a book just from listening to him. But one thing I do know from everything he's told me and that is you are a very determined and strong person. I have no doubt that between the determination and fight in you that you will beat this. My entire family is praying for you and your recovery along with our fellow employees all over this country. Stay strong Danni !!
Still praying for you Danni -- beat this thing!
Stay Strong Danni!❤
I know you will pull through this Danni, sending love and prayers. God Bless!!
Danni -- I am praying for you!!! I follow every update and wish you my very best. Fight hard!
