Daniel Noe family fund
Donation protected
Hi Friends! In case you haven't heard, Daniel Noe -
Fairbury-Cropsy HS Class of 1981 - and his wife,
Kongmany Simmaly and their three children
living at home:
Zach 15, Gabriel 13 and Liam 12,
lost their house and two vehicles in a flood on Tuesday, March 8, in Doyline, Louisiana, to 5
feet 6 inches of water.
Daniel and family are happy to be alive and are resilient and making plans to relocate. However, there is no denying, as Daniel himself admits, that they are, "Stuck like Chuck!" The family lost everything but the clothes on their backs.
Daniel is grateful they all got out safe, and says that is all that matters, but this family needs our help. Daniel down plays all the material things that they have lost (their house, cars and everything that they didn't grab when the boat came to rescue them) but does concede that they all need clothing and personal items. Especially for his three young boys. It's obvious they are all still in shock and haven't completely comprehended the damages, so I sincerely hope you will join me in rallying around them.
Life is funny, and this could be any one of us tomorrow. Disasters like this don't send us "save the date" memos, in advance so that we can plan and prepare for them. We all are one big family and sometimes we need to help each other out. I am asking you on behalf of Daniel and family to please consider donating something - anything, so Daniel and his family can start getting back on their feet and back with their lives.
If you can help, please do. Your support is appreciated and needed!
