It is with deep regret and sadness that Fresno Fire announces the passing of Captain Daniel Lopez-Galvan.
On March 10, 2016, at approximately 0700 hours, Fresno Fire was notified that Captain Daniel Lopez-Galvan a 15-year veteran of the Department lost his life in an off-duty accident while working on his property.
Captain Lopez-Galvan was born on July 2, 1977. He joined the Fresno Fire Department in 2001 and was currently assigned as a Captain to Station 3. Captain Lopez-Galvan leaves behind a wife of 8 years, Kerri Lynn, and an 11 month old son, Tuff.
