Greetings,

My name is Eldridge Betts, known to many as Chef El.

I’ve been blessed with a great opportunity to intern for 3 months in Madrid, Spain -- learning the complexities of Spanish cuisine.

Most people that know me can attest that food has always been the center of my family’s life. Food has always brought the family together, and we have some pretty entertaining family events centered around food. Always a great time!

I’ve been fortunate to cultivate my passion through my career. My life dream is to pay it forward by educating the youth on the various cuisines of the world. I want to bring the experience to them and hopefully become an international culinary ambassador where students can visit a country, under my guidance, for a culinary and cultural experience.

With the help of my family and friends, I will embark on the 3-month journey to mastering one of the finest cuisines in the world.

Your contribution will assist in sustaining this wonderful opportunity, which will fuel my goals of helping future culinary students who may not get to experience travel abroad.
