Hi there friends and family!
My daughter, Anna and I have the amazing opportunity to go to San Jose, Costa Rica this summer. We believe that this is something the Lord has called us to do. While in Costa Rica we will be serving with a mission team known as YWAM (Youth with A Mission), which our church, Homefront Church, here in Arlington, TX has partnered with.
YWAM started in 1964 and "have been working to raise up and disciple relevant leaders around the world." One specific ministry that YWAM has started is Homes of Hope. This ministry started in 2010 with the desire to provide a home with dignity to people who do not have the resources necessary to build their own house.
Anna and I will be heading out with a group of people from Homefront Church to serve, build, and spread the love of Christ for a week THIS July. Our desire is to bring His Kingdom in a real and tangible way to the people of Costa Rica.
We ask most importantly that you keep us in your prayers before, during, and after our trip - that the Lord would be made known and that we learn how to be His hands and feet.
However, we also ask for support financially, as this is a BIG goal. The deadline to receive all of our funds is JUNE 10th - even though that's soon, we serve a big God and we have faith that He will provide every cent that we need to fund this trip.
