Hey, my name is Tyler Petitclerc and I am a graphic designer and amateur comic book artist and writer. I've had a dream since I was a kid to be a part of the comic industry in one way or another, and after recently being let go from my graphic design position I have started research into owning and operating my own comic book store.
I truly believe that things work out when they are meant to and I have spent years working to help achieve my employers dreams instead of my own, and I don't want to waste this opportunity to start achieving my own dreams. I have started the goal at $88,750 even though I don't expect to reach that much but just to have my bases covered, whatever I do reach though will cover the basic costs I have found in my research, such as leasing a building, stock, and all that fun stuff, but the overall price goal may change with time. I am also intending on making the store accessible for every type of nerd; comic nerds, collectable geeks, playing card and roleplaying players, action figure aficionados, and any other niche that falls in the realm of super fandom! Included also will be an arcade and many other forms of entertainment so it can be a place for the youth of Cochrane to hang out (since we all know this little farm town can get a little dull). This project has been in the works for a few years and I have seen this small town grow exponentially, and the one thing it has always lacked was a place like this, and I am going to do whatever it takes to get this business off the ground and any support that is given will mean more to me than I could explain.
