Help Clay reach his wrestling goals
My name is Clay Myers, I have been wrestling for 7 years and I have set many goals for myself. I plan on being a four time state placer in high school. I also want to try to wrestle in college. I am in 8th grade right now, and finishing up my middle school wrestling season.
I am planning on attend The J-Robinson 14 day wrestling camp in Pennsylvania this summer. This is one of the best camps in the nation and I feel it will help me achieve my goals of becoming a state placer in high school.
My parents are not in a position to pay for this camp for me, I am currently collecting cans and doing odd jobs to raise money for the camp. If you live in my area and know me I will come and do some yard work or odd jobs for you.
Thank you for your donations.
He is pretty bummed but I think he learned a lot from his time there.
Thank you to everyone that helped get him there.
I just wanted to thank everyone one last time for all your help.
I leave for JRob on Saturday and I am ready to learn and take my skills to the next level. I'm still looking for some donations to finish up paying off my camp expenses. Every little bit helps.
Thank you to all that have supported me and continue to do so.
I'll be back home on Sunday and the leaving for camp the following Friday.
Thanks again to all that have and are supporting me.
Sorry to hear about your injury. This certainly is a combat sport, injuries happen. Dont get discouraged by this. Like Brandon Meek says, be sure to take the necessary time and steps required to fully heal. One common occurrence with wrestlers is they feel they will fall behind their competition by taking time to heal. Fight that feeling. Remember that wrestling is a marathon and not a sprint. Good luck young warrior. Yours through wrestling, Mike Houston, Manager True Wrestling Insider
I'm sorry to hear about your injury, that's ok. Make sure you take the time to heal, you don't want to mess with concussion and shoulder injury.
