School of Biblical Studies Tuition
Aloha! Greetings from Honolulu!
I am raising support to pay my tuition for a 9 month long intensive bible study course. Completing this school is very important to me because I believe in the significance of building a strong foundation for my Christian faith based on the bible, and sharing the truth of God's goodness with others. After completing the course I intend to continue in full time mission work, which could include training others for short term missions, living abroad long term, or even continuing my education.
In January I completed a 20 week long missionary training course through Youth With a Mission. Below is a short 70 second video summarizing what YWAM is and what they stand for.
During my training I was able to spend 7 weeks in Cambodia and 3 weeks in Japan sharing God's love with people by volunteering at a hospital, leading children's ministries, cleaning up trash, and cutting hair for women at risk. I loved this work so much that I have decided to leave my full time career of hair styling to pursue a life of learning and carying out God's purposes.
The $11,000 will be used to pay my tuition, which includes room and board, books, and instructors. I am so humbled that several friends and family have expressed interest in donating to my cause and I truly thank you for your support. You can also donate by sending a personal check to YWAM including my name on a separate sticky note (please do not write my name anywhere on the check) to the address below. 100% of the donation through personal check will be applied to my tuition and it is tax deductible for you!
