I finally graduated college with my asscoiates in Web Development at 40 years old.

After an ER visit, thinking I was having a stroke, I was diagnosed with Chiari Malformation. (The picture describes it better than I could stumbling over words.)
5 Neurologists Later...
I am finally having surgery! An AMAZING neurosurgeon at John's Hoppkins Hospital has decided that enough was enough, and I needed my life back! YAY! So, September 21st I will become a zipper head, and have brain surgery. My doctor is hopeful that the damage to my spine isn't permanent, as am I.
Please Help?
I am here to beg for help for "my boys" (my husband and our son). I can only imagine how tough this has all been on them having to always cart me around to do anything since I cannot drive. How they constantly worry about what the next symptom might do to me, how they feel seeing me in pain, depressed, and with little to no energy. Yet they keep a smile on their faces while making me laugh doing a comedic impression, all the while I realize this has to be hardest on them, and others that love and care for me.
I am hoping to raise enough money for me AND my boys to drive back to Maryland for me to have this surgery. I would not like to not leave them behind to worry and stress, even if its only for the day of surgery.
If you cannot help monetarily, that's ok... please keep us in your thoughts and prayers, as those are ALWAYS welcomed. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this.
The value I am requesting is for travel expenses for three adults staying with friends in Maryland. Any additional monies will go toward additional medical expenses, and then donated to a national Chiari foundation.
